AI is reshaping how education looks, and some new experiments are getting a lot of attention.

One example is Alpha School, a private learning system where students use AI tools to learn faster than traditional methods. Over the past year, schools like this have gained popularity and sparked debate about the future of education.

At the same time, the current U.S. administration has shown strong support for these tech-driven approaches, while also criticizing the traditional public school system.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon recently visited an Alpha School campus and praised its model. According to officials, the program focuses on helping students build practical AI skills and prepares them for a future where technology plays a major role in the workforce.

This growing interest in tech-based education was also highlighted at a recent White House event led by First Lady Melania Trump. The event focused on how technology companies can help shape modern education systems.

One of the most talked-about moments was the appearance of a humanoid robot developed by Figure AI. The robot walked alongside the First Lady and even gave a short speech about supporting education through technology, creating a moment that many found surprising and unusual.

The event was part of a larger initiative called “Fostering the Future Together,” which brought together global leaders to discuss how tools such as AI can improve education for children around the world.

During her speech, Melania Trump encouraged people to imagine a future where advanced technology plays a central role in learning. She described a concept of a robot educator named “Plato” that could provide instant access to knowledge across subjects like science, history, and the arts.

According to her vision, such a system would offer personalized learning, adapt to each student’s needs, and always be available to guide them.

While this idea is still far from reality, it reflects a growing belief in the tech industry that AI could significantly change how education works and, over time, reduce the role of traditional teachers.

Whether this shift leads to better outcomes or raises new concerns is still an open question. One thing is clear: the conversation about AI in education is only just beginning.
