Telecom companies in Nigeria are set to block SIM cards without a proper link to the National Identification Number (NIN). To avoid disruptions, confirm your SIM-NIN linkage. MTN Nigeria and others stated that phone lines not linked with NIN will face restrictions by February 28, 2024. Keep in mind that not all NIN submissions pass verification. Follow the steps for your telecom provider to ensure a proper SIM-NIN link.
